Last week’s ice storm left many in the Austin area without power and other basic needs for a prolonged period. In order to be sensitive to the situation, we have decided to cancel the “Ready to Raks: Everything you need to know about performing” educational event scheduled for this Saturday, February 11. Like so many in our community, key contributors to this event have only recently had power restored, and are now faced with cleaning-up and catching-up on lost time. We felt it unwise and uncaring to try to push through. All ticket purchases will be refunded as quickly as possible, and members can look forward to a reschedule of this content in the future. For those of you who were and are still impacted by the storm: we hope you are safe, and fully restored in every way.
